You may have notice how curios your child is about almost everything.
He asks questions concerning the simplest things and they seem very
eager to hear what you got to say. He is also very active. He keeps
on running around and observes everything that catches his attention.
It seems like they never get tired. Don’t worry; you are not
the only parent who has to deal with their youngster’s interests
for new things Your child
is starting to explore his environment. It is in his innate nature
to wonder. Why do butterflies have different colors? Why do birds
fly? Why is the sky blue? These are just some of the questions that
your child might ask. Your child’s curiosity is a chance for
you to introduce educational materials for your child. Instead of
giving him learning toys, you can give books for kids that answer
simple questions. If your child doesn’t know how to read yet,
this is a good way to teach him how. You can also read to him the
answers to some of his questions. This will encourage him to learn
to read and find the answers himself.
Make sure that your child’s room is a comfortable place for
reading. You can add a schoolroom carpet in his room so that that
he can sit on the floor while he reads. Make sure that the room
is illuminated so that he won’t strain his eyes. You can also
provide a study table and chair for him. It will also become his
study area in the future. Your child can do other activities on
it as well like drawing and writing.
Sitting on a schoolroom carpet is easier for adults. The floor has
bigger area than the table. If you are teaching your child to read
or if you are reading to him, it would be better to do it on the
floor. It is more comfortable than trying to fit into your child’s
small study table.
Help your child discover new things by reading. You can teach him
how to read at an early age. Start by introducing the alphabet to
him. You can place the letters on the wall so that it will be easier
for him to familiarize. You can also put it on the schoolroom carpet
and create a game. Ask him to pick a letter and see if he will be
able to pick the right one. After he has familiarized the alphabet,
you can start introducing him to simple words.
It is better if you have images of the words you are introducing
to your child. Visual aids help children remember what is being
taught to them. So if you introduce a simple word like cat, it would
be better to have an image of a cat. The simple words will give
your child an idea of how the letters will sound if they are put
together.
Make sure that schoolroom carpet is clean so that it will be more
comfortable for you and your child if you are going to use the floor.
On your school room carpets
your child can play with Board
